Foreign Employment dream of the Youth
Under the project” Youth to World “ initiated by the National Youth Services Council of fulfilling the foreign employment dream of Sri Lankan Youth, the second group of Youths will be leaving to Rumania is about to depart from Sri Lanka today. This program is a successful program that operates in turning the foreign employment dream of Youth into reality.
Under the supervision of the Minister of Youth & Sports, Hon. Namal Rajapaksa and under the guidance of the Chairman/ Director General of the National Youth Services Council and the Director General of the Youth Affairs in Sri Lanka, Mr.Damitha Wickramasinghe, 250 Youth could achieve their foreign job dream as the first group of Youth in this program.
Accordingly, another 21 Youths were privileged to take the opportunity to get foreign employment opportunities in Rumania as the Second Group of Youths. The official handover of Air Tickets and Visa was held on 18th March 2022 by the Chairman/ Director General of the National Youth Services Council at the NYSC premises. This group includes jobs in Bakery, CNC Machine Operators, Welding Mechanics and other areas.
The second group is about to leave for Rumania today, and the specialty of this is that most of them have followed Vocational Training Courses at the National Youth Services Council.
It is a timely need of the country to provide Sri Lankan Youth with the opportunity to contribute to the Economy of the country with the existing necessity.
