Active and Responsible Young Citizens.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of the project “Active and Responsible Young Citizens” was signed between the Sri Lanka Federation of Youth Clubs, National Youth Services Council, and the Search For Common Ground(SFCG) Organization on 14.06.2023 by Mr.Pasindu Gunarathna, the Chairman/Director General of the National Youth Services Council and by Mr.Nawaz Mohommad, the Country Director of the SFCG Institution.

This program is implemented to enhance the awareness of Provincial Governance and Democracy of the Youth and establish the NextGen Political Academy. As the main objective of this program, a young group consisting of Youth Parliament members and active youth leaders of the Youth Clubs (Galle, Kandy, Kurunegala, Jaffna, and Batticaloa) will be selected at the district level, and they will be trained and will be expanded this program to the grass route level. 

To mark this event, Mr.Rashitha Delapola, the Director (Training), Mr.Tharindu Naveen, the Secretary of the Sri Lanka Federation of Youth Clubs, and Mr.Channa Gunarathna, the Administrative Secretary participated.
