Signing the MOU between the National Youth Services Council and Unilever Sri Lanka.
To provide local and foreign employment opportunities for the youth club members after following the six-month Marketing Course, a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) between the National Youth Services Council and Unilever Sri Lanka, the number one band that win the Consumers’trust, took place in the presence of Hon.Roshan Ranasinghe, the Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs, Mr.Pasindu Gunarathna, the Chairman/Director General of the National Youth Services Council, Ms.Anuradha Rushdan, the Chief Human Resources Officer of the Unilever South Asia and Ms.Hajar Alafifi, the Chairperson & Managing Director of the Unilever Sri Lanka on the 30.05.2023 at the BMICH.
For this course, trainees will have to pay 50% of the total cost of the course and the remaining 50% will be provided by Unilever Sri Lanka. As the initial step of this program, 200 individuals will obtain the training, and 52 youth leaders of the Sri Lanka Federation of Youth Clubs, 25 District Leaders, and all members of the Regional Board of the Western Province have qualified for this program.
