Spend the leisure time of youth effectively.
A Training Program conducted for 40 individuals in the Western Province including teachers from 24 schools, instructors from Art Institutes, and officials from SOS Children’s Village who requested to implement the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Program conducted by the Youth Awards Division of the National Youth Services Council was held on the 18th and 19th of May 2023 at the National Youth Services Council.
As Resource Personnel of this event, Ms. Thanuja Wijesinghe, a member of the National and International Training Board, Mr.Sagara Kariyawasam, an internationally trained member of the Training Board, Ms.S.Sumathi Chandrika, a member of the Training Board, Ms.Chandani Gunathilaka, a member of the Training Board, and Ms.Anoma Chandramali, a member of the Training Board have contributed to this event and Mr.Rashitha Delapola, the Director (Training), Mr.Jagath Liyanage, the Deputy Director (Media) and Mr.Roshan Jayasuriya, the Assistant Director(Youth Awards) of the National Youth Services Council have participated in this event.
