LIGHTING DIGITAL YOUTH - BOOTCAMP
Creating Job Opportunities for the Sri Lankan Youth in the Information Technology sector has been identified as an essential factor. With the intention of providing required knowledge and opportunities for that, the “Lighting Digital Youth Bootcamp” has been launched together with the Information Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka and the National Youth Services Council. The leading organizations in the Sri Lankan IT sector like BCS, SLASSCOM, CSSL, and FITIS have joint hands with this program. Moreover, Youlead and the other digital marketing organizations are also involved in this project.
Under this program, it is planned to conduct this Bootcamp 170 within the upcoming three years covering all the Divisional Secretariats in the 25 districts of Sri Lanka. Over 34,000 Youths will be able to get Jobs through this program. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the Information Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka and the National Youth Services Council to mark this event.
